Linnea: Argay Cat Care vet tech with her dogs

Linnea
Veterinary Assistant & Office Manager

Linnea (pronounced Linn-A-uh) has been working for the clinic since 2002. She’s the go-to person for both the day to day management of the hospital as well as utilizing her talents as a skilled care giver. Linnea has high energy and is the consummate multi-tasker. She is dedicated and loyal. It is obvious she loves her job. Her memory for cats, clients, their names and history, is amazing. Linnea’s skills are very comprehensive. She is just as comfortable in the front office as she is in assisting the doctor in surgery, dentistry, and anesthesia. Linnea enjoys going to the movies and reading. We especially appreciate her effervescence, sense of humor, youthful spirit, and vast knowledge of modern movies and music. She keeps us young at heart. Linnea and her husband Kirk live with their dogs Harvey and Charlotte.

Kristine
Veterinary Assistant

With over 13 years of experience as a veterinary assistant in a cat-only practice, Kristine has dedicated her career to providing compassionate, high-quality care tailored specifically to feline patients. Her background combines strong clinical skills with a deep commitment to client care, allowing her to support both the medical team and the families who trust her with their cats’ wellbeing. She has a special interest in promoting feline-focused medicine, including preventive care, dental health, diagnostic imaging, and surgical support. Kristine is passionate about feline behavior and stress reduction, and always strives to create a calm, positive experience for every patient who walks through the doors. Equally important to her is client education—she believes informed pet parents are empowered to make the best decisions for their cats’ long-term health. While also having experience in a mixed animal practice and caring for retired show horses, she stepped away from veterinary medicine to pursue a career in finance. After making her way up into management, her love for animals called her back to the veterinary field where she has stayed! Throughout her career, she has also taken pride in mentoring and training new team members, helping to grow confident, knowledgeable feline care professionals who share the same dedication to excellence. Kristine cares deeply about every aspect of veterinary practice, from patient care and team development to the overall client experience. As she continues to grow in her role with Argay Cat Care, she is especially interested in contributing to the future of the practice by supporting a collaborative, progressive environment that prioritizes the health, comfort, and wellbeing of every cat served. At home, her world revolves around her daughter, Elle, and her little crew of animals: Loly the cat, Noodle the guinea pig, and Rojo the gecko. Life is definitely never boring! Working with animals isn’t just her job—it’s something she genuinely loves every day.
